As we sail around the planet, it’s probably safe to say that I have the world’s shortest commute. I measured it; from where we sleep to my ‘desk’ it's exactly four feet. It‘s another three feet to the ‘print room’ and only a mere ten inches to the ‘media and archive department’. The cafeteria and facilities are also both within an eight-foot radius.
Living, travelling and working all in the same space may sound to some, to put it mildly, like a challenge, and it is, but for me it’s also a dream come true. I’m fortunate, in the business of visual communcaitions as long as you have a computer, the technology to communicate freely, and the resources to share your ideas, there are no limits to what you can accomplish. It would, however, be impossible without the support and encouragement from the exceptionally talented and hard working team of partners, designers and consultants back in i&D's New York headquarters. Also, we’re lucky to have clients with an adventurous spirit that believe that as long as you can do
the job, it doesn't matter where you are.
